The Acer Aspire Timeline 1820P tablet notebook is back on the scene making at appearance a Mobile World Congress. This time the device is showcasing TouchPortal, Acer’s custom interface designed for touch and allows you to access photos, play music, mess with gadgets and test out Microsoft Touch Pack apps. In other words just gimmicky stuff that you’ll try for a couple of minutes for the first time before going back to the Windows interface.

At this stage, we’ve seen enough photos and know the specs already. We just want Acer to release the series (1420P, 1820P, 1820PT) already!

A refresh of specs for this model on display: 11.6” 1366 x 768 display (multi touch), Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor, 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD, GMA 4500M HD Graphics, 0.3MP webcam, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Gigabit LAN and the usual array of ports including HDMI.
